Rheem came to us, looking for an overhaul of their website.

Rheem is an established brand within Australia and while there was a clear need to modernise their brand, we needed to pay homage to their existing branding. I introduced an aqua as an accent colour to their red. My font choice could be seen as ‘retro’, but also modern due to its geometric feel.

For this project I did a website content audit, which informed the UI. I created wireframes, prototypes and facilitated user testing. Off the back of the user feedback, I designed responsive layouts.

We had research that suggested that a lot of people contact Rheem when they need repairs to their existing hot water system. From this, the team introduced a ‘triage’ approach to the site with prompts to contact customer service, or a Rheem recommended plumber. This presented an opportunity to Rheem to sell their products (like-for-like replacement, for example).
